In this on-stage conversation with Boontuck Wungcharoen, CEO of TMB Bank and chairman of Thai Bankers’ Association, at a conference organised by SWIFT, he discusses the agenda for transforming the Thai banking community to respond to new challenges coming from technology and innovation. Khun Boontuck gives his insight on the priorities that the Thai Bankers’ Association focuses on as well as the thinking of the banking community on non-bank players, innovation in payments, the general need to be transformed to be more customer-centric and to dismantle the monopoly that the community has had on the economy.
