My conversation with Agostino Capponi, associate professor of industrial engineering and operational research at Columbia University and director of its Center for Digital Finance and Technologies, robustly captured the transition that finance is undergoing today. Professor Capponi contributes actively to the thinking that goes into policy making in the US, so his line of thinking was pertinent in this conversation.
