Apart from setting the stage with the evolution of banking and payment systems, I addressed the purpose and privacy issue of CBDCs and stablecoins, the value of community currencies, market vs. network ecosystems, DeFi and crypto exchanges, the role of traditional institutions and P2P, “open finance”, BTC use case initiatives in El Salvador, utility of gold vs. BTC and reflects upon the personalization of society and overall transition to a network world.
