Basic assumptions on how China will navigate its economy

I share my thoughts on China's evolving economy. While I delve into concerns like overcapacity and the property crisis in future videos, I also start by challenging conventional viewpoints.

I spend a lot of time in China, but this is the first of my videos outlining how I think the country’s economy will evolve. I have not included some concerns about the looming overcapacity in manufacturing and the infrastructure it has built. I have also not included my thoughts on how the property crisis could have been left to rot for as long as it did and whether the state is broadening the economy enough to be a repository of wealth. All that in another video, but I am introducing my preliminary concerns in context by first removing slogans and established paradigms when evaluating any country, not just China.
